ATL Books Up More NQT Voice workshops

ATL -The Association of Teachers and Lecturers – have booked the VCN to deliver more voice workshops for NQTs this summer. VCN will be delivering in London, York, Manchester and Birmingham in July and August this year, ahead of the new academic year.

DWP Extends VCN Voice Contract

The Department of Works and Pensions (DWP) has continued to use the VCN, as its exclusive provider for voice training, for their Call Centre operatives. Further workshops have been delivered in 2009 for The Pension Service, The Carers Disability Unit, the Benefit Enquiry Line and the Attendance Allowance Help Line.

'73000 Teacher Days lost to voice strain every year' - TES 04.01.08

More than 70,000 teaching days are lost in primary schools every year because of voice strain. A recent survey has revealed that teachers in 59% of schools complain of the problem.

VCN Provides Voice Training for NHS Direct Staff

Following a visit to our stand at the Health and Well Being Exhibition in March, we had a call from an NHS Direct Call Centre. An initial afternoon workshop in August was rated so highly , that VCN was immediately was immediately booked for a further four in September.
